Silk Painting Demo with Marianna Hamilton-Ross

Marianna will demonstrate to the public her technique of silk painting. Derived from the ancient Indonesian batik process using a wax resist and immersion dyeing, this contemporary application combines drawing with a water-based resist, followed by the application of dyes using watercolor painting techniques. Demonstration date is Sunday, June 24 at 2 pm. This is a FREE demonstration.
