UPDATE: The annual Autism Walk and Family Fun Day has been postponed to Sunday, July 26, 2020.

Every day is a great day to celebrate the selfless service of nonprofit organizations here in Central Florida, and with April being nationally recognized as Autism Awareness Month, there’s never been a greater time to celebrate the Autism Society of Greater Orlando, with 25 years of experience providing support to local families of children and adults with autism.
ASGO has announced that plans for Orlando’s 15th Annual Autism Walk & Family Fun Day are currently underway, and with more than $115,000 in donations and counting, the event is intended to promote a climate of awareness, acceptance and support for Central Floridians living with autism. Aside from the walk, the event will feature many fun and exciting experiences such as character meet and greets, a silent auction, face painting, balloon animals, and bounce houses.
The 15th Annual Autism Walk will be something fun for everyone: Everything from games and prizes to massages will be available at this event. On top of all that fun, 100% of the funds from this event will go toward supporting the families and support systems of fellow Central Floridians living with autism today. The event is planned to be held April 11 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Orange County Convention Center’s North concourse. Event registration is available online at ASGO.org and includes a T-shirt as well as free parking.
